About the Festival

“Japan International Ballet Festival” will be held in Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan for 10 days from 8th to 18th August 2024.
This festival takes over the “Ballet Workshop in Nara” and “Ballet Competition in Nara” with 16 years history in Nara Prefecture. Through our partnership with the world famous ballet schools and academies, we have welcomed the teachers of the school as the judges and trainers. We have been contributing to send many students to outside of Japan and develop excellent ballet dancers. This time, we have newly opened a more international competition, workshop, gala concert with various ballet schools’ artistic directors and teachers including Mr. Vladimir Malakhov.
